Magic Salt starts out as ordinary rock salt. When sprayed with a distilling by-product mixed with magnesium chloride, rock salt becomes Magic Salt!
Magic Salt Works Better.
Magic Salt works faster and lasts longer than rock salt, and is effective to –30F. Light snow under 2” can be burned off without plowing! Magic Salt is less corrosive and environmentally friendlier than other ice melters, and leaves no residue, unlike calcium chloride products. It’s safe to handle, and biodegradable, too.
Magic Salt Eliminates Sand Clean Ups.
Magic Salt melts snow and ice therefore there is no need for sand. As a result, sand is not tracked into buildings, there is no mess, and sand will not clog up drains. Magic Salt reduces Spring Clean Up time and associated costs by eliminating sand deposits during the winter.
